It was definitely an amazing journey. And I am so glad I get to watched it in the big screen! Thanks to Greenwich Pizza and Star World for making it possible. A lot of freebies, food and photo sessions! And the best thing about it, everything was for free!!! Real COOL!!!

Now that the final performance is over (and though I must admit that tonight's performance of Lee is not his best), I am still rooting for him. After all, after watching AI for 9 seasons now, we all know pretty well that the final 2 performance is not much of a guarantee for the AI title. Take for instance what happened during David Cook and Kris Allen's season. And I am hoping Lee's fate would be the same.

I wouldn't mind another guitar-playing-white-guy to win for the 3rd time. And I would say that Lee's performance of Hallelujah during the top 3 performance is much like Kris Allen's Heartless which had sealed his seat for the top 2 and eventually for the title. If it's not too much to ask, history will repeat itself tomorrow. ^_^

And I am excited because I'd be watching it on the big screen. Yes, you read it right ON THE BIG SCREEN. haha. Thanks to Greenwich Pizza for the upcoming oppurtunity. XD

So if you are still in doubt if Lee does deserve to be given the title, watch this Video. It's one of my favorite Idol moment ever.

She had been one of my favorites for this season. Or make that the only one among the girls that I actually rooted for. And it's sad that she got eliminated. Such a SHOCKER! But then again, if you had been watching AI since season one you'll know pretty well that anything can happen. At least we still got Lee. If Lee will be eliminated, then I could honestly really say that it's really high time for American Idol to take some rest.

Well, at least again we can say that she got voted off not because she had an awful performance. Her performance last night was definitely one of her best. And I got her Any Man of Mine studio version on my playlist now.

Siobhan Magnus. Such an awesome girl with an interesting, one of a kind personality.

When Alex was booted out of the competition I thought this AI's season is a goner. But thank to this guy, he changed my mind. Two words: Dark Horse.

And his version of You're Still the One tonight just make me wanna swoon all over him and yeah...makes me wanna fall in love.^_^

Now that my first choice from this season's American Idol did not make it to the top 12 I have another contestant to look forward to: Siobhan Magnus.




Her Performance tonight is just Wow. Killer! Best of the night. The rest are boring. =p

Tim Urban's performance was huh? Alex should have been in his position right now. Sorry, just got to add that. There's always a Sanjaya in every season. Sheesh.

Bring Alex Lambert Back

It's been 3 nights since the last elimination and the time when the Top 12 for this season's American Idol was announced. But I can't still get over it. More like an over-extended hangover of the shocking results. It was shocking because of one, those who made a total fool of themselves from their last performances made it and two, Alex Lambert got voted off the competition. I was confident that he will definitely make it. After all, his performance garnered high ratings and good reviews. But apparently America don't know how to recognize talent when they see one. Alex Lambert definitely is one talented young man. And the announcement of him not making it to the top 12 was definitely unexpected. What a shocker.

I'm not trying to be a racist here. But then again, it's the people living in America who can vote for who's staying and who's not. Pardon me then for generalizing it. I just think that it's such a shame that they voted off someone who is definitely more talented than most of the contestants that made it to the top 12. It's sad, depressing when such talent will be left unrecognized. Such a waste. Let me quote my friend Julius' post in twitter: It's disheartening to see talented people like Alex Lambert and Lilly Scott get eliminated in a TALENT SHOW like American Idol.

But as usual, there's the it's not yet your time, when God closes a door he opens a window and God has better plans for you pep talks that we can use as words of comforts. There's nothing wrong about those statements of course. But if there's something that we should be in talk right now, that would be for us to Vote for Alex to be back on the show. He's the excellent choice for a wild card entry! If only there's one like last year. =( #BringAlexBack (Trending topic in Twitter)

Of A.I, K.A. and RD

Rest Day: drop off laundry. early lunch.movie.bookstore.blog.go home.watch A.I.9 at 6.dinner.read off to sleep. dream.dream.dream.

That's what my FB status says. Yup, it's finally my rest day. I'm not much of a planner or at least I was not. But possibly that's one of the things I am trying to change. Thanks to my Starbucks planner, it makes things easier to fall into its proper places. Errr--- yeah. You read it right. Starbucks planner. And yeah, you can roll your eyeballs cause yes I am bragging about it.=p Not after all those late coffee night trip and coffee lunch date wit moi just to get all those stickers. And I finally got it last Jan. 6. SWEET.

Anyway, going back to my FB status, so far I am on schedule. I dropped off my laundry, grabbed some early lunch, did some laptop/cellphone/SLDR cam window shopping. Still thinking what to buy but I have a long list of choices already. Fickle. Fickle. Fickle.

I watched Alvin and the Chipmunks. It's a funny movie but it's pretty much really for kids. Charice had a special participation in the movie. Real Cool.

Went to Powerbooks and National Bookstore. They're on SALE! Goodness. Is there anymore evil/tempting than that? Anyway, maybe this year I'd read more classics. I had Wuthering Heights and To Kill a Mocking Bird. Been wanting to read these two for a long time now. Wuthering Heights was mentioned in the Twilight Series while To Kill a Mockingbird is the book Mandy Moore was reading when she was portraying Jamie Sullivan from the movie A Walk to Remember. Very Cool.

And of course right now I am on the blogging part. Obviously. Then I just have to wait for 6 PM for the opening of American Idol Season 9 and what a perfect timing! My land lord just had our TV set at home hook up with a cable connection. Just perfect.

Speaking for A.I., Did you know that Kris Allen, as in my Kris Allen is going here in Cebu this Feb. 5? No kidding! Though I haven't heard/seen any official news but it's such a big buzz here in the city and in some blogging sites. I sure hope he will. And if he does, just expect to see me there in the front row.

Maybe that's what I'll be dreaming of tonight after dinner and as I read off my self to sleep. Him singing, strumming his guitar just a few feet away from me. Who knows, maybe I could have an autograph and some smooch from him. ^_^

Well, like an A.I. song, if you don't dream big then what's the use of dreaming?

No Boundaries

I'm possibly one of those people whom when they have a song that they don't like but when their idol had made a version of it, they had eventually learned to embrace and finally love the song. That will most likely happen to this very first single,No Boundaries, that my Kris Allen will have after winning the American Idol. I'm not all over the song unlike the first time I heard Time of our lives by David Cook or even the Do I make you proud by Taylor Hicks. But right after I heard the studio version of Kris, it had been my last song syndrome. And yes, I'm loving it.

Now that the show is finally finish and I'm extremely super duper satisfied with the result, I'm once again running out of things that would at least entertain me. My life had been pretty much really serious these past days if we'd take out the American Idol part. Not that I'm complaining about the newly appointed tasks but after passing that level 2 exam, bringing something to read during shift period is a waste of time. And blogging will be on or before shift time or during rest days. But of course, I can't complain. If you are paid more, then of course you are expected to do more work load. Wait, I'm suppose to talk about Kris Allen not about work. lol.

Oh well, what more can I say. He was indeed the Dark Horse of the competition. I'm actually happy because those people I've been rooting for usually in a competition don't win. At least he broke the trend. ^_^

Well, for now, we'll see what will happen after AI. I hope like Cook and Archuleta, he'd go to our country as well. That'll be a day to remember!

I'm word out as of the moment. Can't seem to find the right words to express how happy I am that the one I've rooted for the whole season of American Idol actually won the title. Just a big YESSSSS!!!!^_^

I'd get back if I had finally compose my self. People here are congratulating me too. lol.

I'm happy because Kris Allen was the first one to be part of the American Idol Season 8 Top 3 however, I'm also disappointed that Gokey also made it. Allison is definitely better than him. Anyway, for now, at least, Kristine and Kris could smile again. ^_^



Crazy but, I got teary eyed when Ryan put him to the safe spot first. I wish I'm living in Arkansas. XD

But I'm even admiring him more because he still got time for his wife even though he's having a crazy schedule.

I wish I could save you.

I know my favorite American Idol (Kris Allen) is in trouble. But it's just so unfair! I mean, if we are just to base it tonight, Kris' performance was not the worse performance. Although I have to admit Kris performance tonight was just a-ok but it is not as horrible as Danny Gokey's performance!!! I mean, I have to agree with Simon when he said it was like watching a horror movie. What kind of a "scream" was that?!?! Seriously, that only means Danny doesn't have the vocals like what most people think he has.

Sorry. I'm just seriously worried about my Kris, I mean about my bet. I've already accepted that he is married and right now I'm just all in to his musicianship. I'm very much impressed when I learned that he could play almost all musical instruments and he usually does the arrangements for his performances. That's what an artist is all about. But then again, they'd always reason it out that American Idol is a singing contest and the winner should really "sing". And sadly, they sometimes equate singing to "screaming" and some "hoarse---choppy---vocals". And sadly, Kris doesn't have that. And the judges are like rooting for a Lambert-Gokey finals so they are like shoving him off of the competition. Urgggghhhhh! I wish I could save him.

And another thing, what's with all this A for Effort thing? Jeeezzzzz.... Anoop had also given a lot of effort. Matt had exerted too much effort as well. And if winning this contest is just all for the effort, all 13 of them should win the title! And to think that the judges considered Kris as trying too hard! And that awful, atrocious, pitchy, last scream of Danny is Daring?!?! WTF.

Straight out: Danny Gokey should go home.

I hope America will "Come Together" and save Kris.
