I would rather call Sarah's concert that way and not The Next One the way the organizers of this concert entitled it. Sarah is not the next generation's next big star. She is now the biggest star of this generation. She had proven it time and time again why she deserved to be called that way.
Last night, I get to watch her concert here in Cebu. It was held in Waterfront Hotel and Casino and it was actually my first ever concert that I get to have a VIP seat. And until now, I am still in a daze, still trying to fight reality that it's finally over and still wanting to replay what happened last night. If there's anything, any other feeling higher than being starstruck, then I had and still having that kind of feeling. I am a woman, but Sarah just took my breath away. ^_^
As I was thinking about it, I wonder how a lot of people could still manage to scream in the middle of Sarah's rendition of a certain song especially if the song is heartfelt, sad, melodramatic when all I could do is stare, listen and feel awe-struck. The line "she's just too good be true" comes to mind. Maybe my voice is just there somewhere but I wouldn't mind listening to Sarah's voice all night or even all day long if that's possible.
I won't claim that I am the biggest fan of Sarah. After all, I've never signed up for any online forums and the only album that I got so far was the one that I've asked her to sign last night. But Sarah, she's just the right epitome of what a celebrity, a singer, a total performer, a star should be. She really is the only one. I hope she'd have another set of concert in the near future again.
Waaaaahhhhhh!!!!!! I want to watch it again!^_^
